"Being an artist is the best excuse for being crazy"
My passion for filmmaking started when I was a teenager, I was curious about how VFX scenes were filmed and how actors could jump off buildings without getting injured. This sparked an interest in me to pursue a career in filmmaking and 10 years later I am still afforded an opportunity to create magic every time I am in a filmmaking production.
Over the years, my work has ranged from short films, sports, digital content, corporate work, and wildlife.
I AM a thriving and growing freelance filmmaker based in Johannesburg, South Africa. I continue to work with a vast array of global clients such as National Geographic, Netflix, Sun International, Wild Impact, BBC, BMW South Africa & Global Citizen.
I have a strong passion for evolving into an active cinematographer & drone pilot in wildlife, travel films, documentary, and narrative spaces of the film industry.
My "can do" spirit is always my offer to clients. I believe that I draw inspiration from the world around me to create impactful imagery.
I am not a South African artist, I am an artist from South Africa because the world is bigger than my neighbourhood since I have aspirations to work on international film & TV productions.
